Chasing Wonder

“Always be on the lookout for the presence of wonder.” ~ E.B. White

This quote by one of my favorite childhood authors stays with me. Especially now, in an uncertain world, as I’m missing my community and the events we’ve shared. One year ago today we presented our first Children’s Market Festival, A Midsummer Fairy Faire. Years of planning, schemes, and dreams came together in as perfect a day as I could have asked for. Children created fairy houses, wands, and dragon launchers. Families found unique treasures and experiences with our fantastic vendors and entertainers. Fairies spread their wings and danced to magical music in the summer sunshine with the air full of iridescent bubbles.

I’ve been thinking every day about how to capture that wonder now that we can't gather for the foreseeable future. I have a few new things in the works that will be announced in the following weeks - click on our Wonderstruck page to get a preview. It might take a little more searching these days, but Wonder is still all around us.

For now, I’d like to offer you some resources for some Fairy Faire fun at home. We at Paper & Stars Studio can’t wait until we see you again!
